What a great way to spend a December night in beautiful San Diego! The weather was typical for California with temps around a nice 75. Carolers strolled the plaza, kids were coloring their holiday crafts, and Santa arrived to pass out special treats for the kids. Many of the local art teachers attended the event to receive the donation from Del Mar Highlands Town Center in support of their art programs and many toys were collected for Toys for Tots from the very generous community of Del Mar.
HALLOWEEN EVENT 2011
The community came out for a celebration on a beautiful Halloween night in Carmel Valley. Del Mar Highlands Town Center was filled with excited children dressed up as princesses, vampires, ghosts and even an ipad! The locals danced to the tunes of The Hodads and trick-or-treated from many of the merchants of Del Mar Highlands Town Center.
Reimaging Del Mar Highalnds Town Center
With the completion of a $20 million renovation of the “Reimagining Del Mar Highlands Town Center,” it was time to celebrate! Festivities kicked-off on Friday afternoon, September 9th and continued through Saturday evening. The community joined in the two day celebration that included; live music, fashion shows, cooking demonstrations, food tastings, doggie couture and talent contest, beauty makeover, shopping sprees, prizes and surprises for the kids and adults alike.
