New Retailers to Come To Del Mar Highlands Town Center

Tilly’s and AT&T among center’s new leases meeting local community’s demands (San Diego, Calif., March 4, 2010)
—Tilly"s, a So-Cal lifestyle clothing and accessories retailer, will open at the Del Mar Highlands Town Center in early summer 2010, Donahue Schriber announced today.
"Del Mar Highlands Town Center has a long history in the Carmel Valley community and we are proud of our growth and achievements over the years, especially through these difficult economic times," said Del Mar Highlands Vice President and General Manager Elizabeth Schreiber. “The addition of Tilly"s will continue our dedication to the San Diego community through keeping our vision for the shopping center fresh, relevant and appealing to shoppers."
Tilly"s will fulfill much-needed demand for lifestyle clothing, shoes and accessories among the Carmel Valley area"s teens and young adults. The popular retailer will occupy approximately 7,000 square feet in the space next to the Royal Nursery, formerly occupied by Eli"s. Since 1982, Tilly"s has offered a wide assortment of brands such as Volcom, RVCA, Billabong, LRG, Hurley, FOX, DC Shoes and Infamous, catering to today"s active youth culture. Headquartered in Irvine, Tilly"s operates over 110 stores throughout California, Arizona, Colorado, Nevada, Florida, Maryland, New Jersey and Virginia.
Additionally, AT&T Wireless, a retailer at Del Mar Highlands Town Center since 1998, will expand its existing store in order to meet the growing demand for wireless phones and services. The new space, which will open later this spring and double in size, will be located near IHOP and occupy approximately 3,000 square feet.
